I am Andrei Marcovici and I am both the percussionist and orchestra director of Musica Ricercata. I have a degree in Music from the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Cologne and since graduating my studies, I have worked uninterrupted as a professional musician. Beside giving MR its pulse, I enjoy a good run, a good wine and rooting for F.C. Barcelona. FORÇA BARÇA!
My name is Dacian Predan-Hallabrin (saying my whole name is a mouthful) and I am responsible for Musica Ricercata's touring activities. As a tour manager, I organized tours for ensembles such as the Philharmonia Orchestra, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, the SWR Symphony Orchestra, Dresden Philharmonic, the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, the Russian National Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Les Musiciens du Louvre, Le Concert Spirituel, Vox Luminis, l'Arpeggiata, Jordi Savall and many more. I like a good cup of coffee in the morning and basketball the rest of the day.
